I have been teaching theatre for 31 years and dance for 18 years and I love the arts. Before coming to Analy in 2001 I taught at BrookHaven Middle School from 1990 to 2001, teaching Drama, English/History Core, Speech and Video Wheel, 7th grade World History and Dance, and at Rincon Valley Junior High from 1987 to 1997,  teaching dance and choreographing the musicals. I have traveled extensively all over the world and hopr e to bring my experiences to the classroom.

The Theatre Arts Dept. has a Drama Club that supports the fundraising for the afterschool productions, goes to the Lenaea Festival at CSUS in Sacramento at the end of January,  sponsors Movie Night and Improv Night, besides being ambassadors for a clean campus.

There are 2 Acting Classes which incorporates performances from classroom work, classically "Skit Happens" and Improv Night.

The Production Class, which is an afterschool class,  classically does two major productions a year, a Fall Production and a Spring Musical.  This fall our show was LYSISTRATA  by Aristophanes which we will be taking to the Lenaea Festival this year Feb. 1 - 3.

We are excited to present  ANYTHING GOES - music and lyrics by the great Cole Porter.  Performances are Apr. 11,12, 13, 17, 18, 19.

"The human potential never ceases to amaze me. Everything can be taught through the arts."  Hergie
