Ann has enjoys teaching & working in video. Before returning to Analy in 2000, Ann taught Broadcast Video at CSU Hayward, CSU Sonoma and BAVC. She currently teaches 6 classes of R.O.P. video, beginning and advanced. She also teaches Planning and Managing the Video Project and Interview Techniques at Bay Area Video Coalition. She has worked at CBS & PBS in S.F., Zoetrope Studios in L.A, and created videos for various corporate, non profit, educational groups & others.

BEGINNING VIDEO

Periods 2, ,4 6,7, & 8 - students produce a variety of short projects, while learning about story organization & strucuture,cameras, editing and may enter projects in Festival.

ADVANCED VIDEO

Students work in longer form videos, create all videos for , "IT'S FRIDAY" our weekly video magazine as well as direct and produce the TV show. Students also edit, produce, direct the Annual Digital Festival.

Homework policy: :Although much of our work is done during class time using our video gear, all students will eventually need to check out gear to use afterschool/ weekends to complete projects outside of class with their video groups. Their are also written reports and other homework projects.

ANNUAL DIGITAL VIDEO FESTIVAL

Our Festival is held in mid May in our Theatre. This program features innovative student directed video projects: narrative fiction, comedy, drama, projects from "IT'S FRIDAY", and all kinds of other topics! This is a great opportunity to connect with what students are excited and involced in.
